Dear colleagues, media friends and all sectors of society:
Hello, everyone!
We are pleased to announce that the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) has officially launched the 2023 General Election Status Hall project. The aim of the project is to monitor, assess and report on human rights safeguards during the upcoming general elections and to ensure fair, impartial and transparent electoral activities.
NHRC’s mission is to uphold civil rights and promote social justice, and it understands that elections are a key part of a democracy. That is why we have actively invested in the establishment of the 2023 General Election Status Hall to comprehensively collect, collate, and analyze all types of election-related information, including data on voter registration, candidacy, election processes, and voting security.
In the 2023 General Election Status Hall, we will provide real-time updates on the progress of the election, publish important data and case studies, and make recommendations and solutions to possible issues and challenges. We will also invite experts, scholars, political leaders and representatives of citizens to participate in the discussions and make suggestions for the smooth conduct of the election.
We firmly believe that through the establishment and operation of the 2023 General Election Status Hall, it will help increase the public’s interest in and participation in election activities, and enhance the transparency and credibility of elections. At the same time, we also hope to use this platform to encourage all sectors of society to work together to safeguard citizens’ election rights and promote national democratic progress and social stability.
Here, we sincerely invite colleagues, media friends and all sectors of society to actively pay attention to and participate in the “2023 Election Status Hall” project. We are confident that with the joint efforts of all, this election will be a complete success and write a profound brush for the country’s democratic process.
Finally, thank you for your continued support and trust in NHRC. We will continue to uphold the principles of justice, fairness and openness and make unremitting efforts to safeguard citizens’ rights and promote social justice.
Thank you all!
